EBA – The Triple Wins of Biogas

The Brief

The brief for this project was to produce an animation that clearly conveyed the wide-ranging benefits of biogases to a diverse audience, including MEPs, industry stakeholders, and the general public. The animation would need to be visually engaging and accessible in order to effectively highlight the ‘Triple Wins’ – how the production of biogases can enhance environmental preservation, community development, and economic growth. It also had to be adaptable for sharing across social media, websites, newsletters, and events, ensuring lasting visibility and engagement across different platforms.

The Approach

We created dynamic and detailed visuals to underscore the role of biogas in reducing emissions, boosting renewable energy, and supporting local economies. 

Scenes of urban, rural, and industrial landscapes allow viewers to see biogas’ multifaceted potential for processing waste, preventing methane emissions, powering homes, and supporting sustainable agriculture by enhancing waste management and reducing the use of synthetic fertilisers. 

We showcased the sector’s powerful statistics for potential growth in employment and economic impact with bold key stats on screen supported by clean, clear, memorable iconography. 

The upbeat soundtrack creates a sense of positivity and hopefulness about the future of biogases.

The Results

The animation succinctly communicates the Triple Wins of Biogases – environmental, community and economic – cementing biogases as a sustainable and valuable energy solution for Europe. It has already got over 300 engagements on LinkedIn and 1,500 views on X. Because of its evergreen format, the animation will continue to be used across platforms, sustaining awareness and support for biogas initiatives.
