LeaderSHIP project

The Brief

LeaderSHIP is an EU funded project that aims to strengthen the European shipbuilding sector and maritime value chain through business-education partnerships that develop skills and training for workers.

We were commissioned to create a video to introduce the project and highlight the importance of the maritime industry, using the newly established look and feel of the project.

The Approach

We began by drafting a narrative for the video that introduces the LeaderSHIP project and its aims and objectives. Throughout the script, we touch on key information and statistics that highlight the importance of the sector, and its breadth and depth across Europe.

The visual style for the animation combines the clean, clear graphics of the LeaderSHIP brand with footage provided to us by the project’s partners, and stock footage. Overlays and animated text on-screen are used throughout the video to ensure the footage flows naturally with fully animated scenes.

A young, male voice was selected to deliver the voiceover for the animation, bringing a youthful and future focused feel.
