Terrence Higgins Trust – PrEP 2025

The Brief

The Terrence Higgins Trust commissioned us to create a new social media campaign animation to raise awareness of PrEP. Having created a very successful campaign animation back in 2020, their brief was for us to bring a fresh look and feel to the narrative for summer 2025.

The Approach

For the 2025 campaign, we created an animation concept that combines voice over with pacey upbeat animated graphics and key text. Messaging is short and simple, with clear take-away facts designed to stay in the mind of the viewer. 

With a bright, vibrant colour palette to work with, creating the bold, eye-catching visuals was fun for our team. We developed a cast of abstract characters to bring a human feel to the messaging, and coupled these with supporting graphics that are intuitive and memorable.

As the animation was being created for a social media campaign, we produced versions in both a vertical format (9:16) as well as in standard widescreen (16:9).

The Result

The animation is live across the ItStartsWithMe social channels, and has gained particularly good engagement on Instagram.
