MDU international medical graduates video

The Brief

The MDU commissioned us to create an event highlights film, as well as a series of vox pops for social media, to showcase their conference for international medical graduates.

The conference provides doctors with practical advice for succeeding in the NHS, and includes talks from guest speakers, both from inside and outside The MDU interactive breakout sessions and a panel Q&A session.

The Approach

We began work early on the day of the event, ensuring we were in position to capture footage of the arrivals, and were ideally placed to film the breakout sessions, networking, and clips of the conference hall talks and audience. 

We worked with the team from The MDU to film the vox pops, setting each speaker at ease and giving them time to prepare some thoughts, prompted by a series of questions. Each speaker chose the questions they felt best placed to answer, delivering natural comments direct to camera. Some of the vox pops are included in the highlight film, with them all also being delivered as standalone social media films in vertical format.
