CECE 2025 Annual Economic Report

The Brief

CECE commissioned us to bring their 2025 Annual Economic Report to life. This is the 6th year that we have worked on this project, and so the brief was familiar, allowing us to start work quickly and hit the ground running once the report text had been approved. The report provides in-depth analysis of the macroeconomic situation in Europe, and insights into sales performances across the major sectors of the European construction equipment market, and our job is to make the findings stand-out.

Our Approach

We began work by reviewing the executive summary and key chapters of the report in order to get a feel of the broad trends and therefore the narrative that the animation would take this year. We then drafted a script for review by the team at CECE.

The visual style for the annual report animation has been honed over the years, and so we were able to begin work quickly once the script was approved. We created graphics that marry with past animations, but are also fresh and new. Graphs from within the report are recreated and animated so that there is a strong cohesion between the animation and report.

The Outcome

One of the benefits of such a long and close relationship with CECE is that we are able to work quickly and easily. From beginning to end, this project only took 2 weeks to complete, allowing CECE to be prepared well ahead of their launch date – something that can be very helpful at a busy time of year!
