CPE Community Pharmacy England

The Brief

Community Pharmacy England (formerly PSNC), entrusted us with the creation of three dynamic animations, each tailored to address a distinctive aspect to their overarching goal – introducing and promoting their new brand. The animations aim to articulate the rationale behind the rebrand, outline the implications for stakeholders and highlight the value of Community Pharmacy England.

Video 1: Narrates the journey of the name change, emphasising its role in positioning the CPE as a more authoritative voice for community pharmacy.

Video 2: Centres on the organisation’s commitment to communication and engagement. It introduces new events, polls and strategies to involve the audience in decision-making.

Video 3: Underscores the organisation’s role as the voice of community pharmacies in England and highlights the critical role pharmacies play in healthcare.

The Approach

The animations (each between 60-90 seconds) cater to diverse audiences, spanning the pharmacy sector, patients, national and local policy makers and those less familiar with CPE. A female voice with a neutral accent clearly delivers CPE’s points and the motion graphics animate on screen to support each message, making the information highly digestible. The cohesive style across all three videos ensures a seamless viewing experience, aligning strongly with CPE’s new branding.

Photos of pharmacists at work are used throughout the videos, ensuring a focus on the working lives of those within the sector and the services they provide. Animated human figures are also included but these are depicted with neutral colours, further enhancing the sense of diversity within the organisation.

The Result

The result is a trio of impactful animations that work together to effectively communicate the Community Pharmacy England’s branding shift as well as draw attention to the importance of their organisation within England’s healthcare landscape..
